This is another funny of the day. You might not find it as funny as I.
I first signed up with AT&T Wireless back when it was owned by the original AT&T. It was then spun off. Recently AT&T Wireless was purchased by Cingular, and merged into the Cingular brand. As the article states, 60% Cingular is owned by SBC. SBC recently bought AT&T, and has decided to take on the AT&T name because of the major name recognition. With SBC now known as AT&T they have announced that Cingular will change it’s name to AT&T. So, from my original day of purchase all those years ago I’ve gone from AT&T Wireless to Cingular, and now to AT&T. Basically, nothing much (in the way of a name) has changed.
It almost seems like a life-cycle has happened. MaBell was forced to kick kid SBC out of the house. Well kid SBC has now taken in the elderly MaBell rather than letting her go to a retirement community in Scotsdale or Tampa. Can’t you just feel the love in that family.

I just need to know who to make the checks out to: that’s all I ask.
