We’ve made an addition to our family this week. Jacksonville Schwanz (Jacks for short) is the latest member of our family. He is a cute 8-week old mix breed puppie. His dad is a Manchester Terrier, and the mom is an Australian Kelpie.
The name Jacksonville comes from the town we were married in, Jacksonville, Oregon.
So cute! Looks like he’s going to be a very “active” puppy. Have fun! Does Judah love him?

Welcome to the fam, Jacksonville. Jacks is a so totally cool name. And from the feline perspective, well, cousin Orley will adjust. He’s nowhere near as neurotic as yours truly, yo.
Your new mom is the person I own (PIO niece. It’s complicated, family/animals and I know you’re a puppy and all and that you love everybody but Cousin O was an only child for a bit. So, ya’ll will work it out and the PIO adores you already, well, she’s crazy about animals. Seriously and loves them *all*. Hmm. And you are in a canine loving family, from way back on your mom’s side.
The PIO says you are the cutest puppy in the whole world (and yo, heads up, she’ll probably call you a genius). She’s just…well, odd, to say the least.
