		<description>I don&#039;t disagree with that assessment of the recover from the Great Depression. And anecdotally, I would say that is very true. I guess my point was that when the US goes through a major economic downturn the pendulum of economic policy tends to swing to the opposite end of the spectrum. I think we are all but guaranteed to see an increase in regulation in the financial sector.

Free market economics are good for the customer, up until the hyper-greed of Corporate America takes over, and companies stop following their guidelines, and start making stupid (read: highly risky) financial decisions, and the customer gets left holding the bomb.</description>
